Where the pictures come from

Images are part of the reporting. We use them so readers can see the work, the room, or the place we are asking them to spend time with.

Every image links to the page where we found it and names the artist, photographer, publisher, and licence when those details are available. The credit also says whether it is used editorially, openly licensed, in the public domain, or made by Look Three Small.

Editorial-use images come from artists, venues, organizers, public institutions, or cultural publications and appear in reporting about that same work or place. When the page needs a crop, resize, or re-encoding, the credit says so.

If a credit is wrong, or if you made or published an image and want it removed, message @lookthreesmall.tw on Instagram or Threads. We verify and act on legitimate requests.
