Shuttle 5700 to Beipu Old Street, then about 350 metres on foot; allow six minutes.

The Deng family's 1926 house at the southern end of Beipu Old Street now commemorates photographer Deng Nan-Guang and doubles as the visitor centre. His camera kept running after ordinary people at weddings, at work and on days out.

Entry is free; regular hours are 10:00–17:00 daily, except Lunar New Year's Eve. Each exhibition has its own dates: the 2026 centennial show ended July 31. The historical street photograph here introduces his photographic work, not today's gallery display.

Take shuttle 5700 from HSR Hsinchu or TRA Zhubei to Beipu Old Street, then walk about 350 metres to 15 Gongyuan Street. Allow six minutes for the walk. That doesn't include stopping to negotiate with a bowl of Hakka flat noodles.
