Choose a city story on December 18–20; South Bookshop’s grandmother appears December 20.
Sunday’s chapter casts Changhua’s South Bookshop as a 71-year-old grandmother. Xu Hong-kai (徐宏愷) sings and tells the stories with live instrumental music by Suana Emuy Cilangasan.
December 18 at 19:30 pairs Taoyuan with the Taipei Fringe version; that performance will be recorded. December 19 at 14:30 pairs it with Changhua’s local-hero story, 旅庫小王子. December 20 at 14:30 pairs it with South Bookshop. All three include the new Taoyuan chapter.
The show runs 70 minutes including an interval; ages 12+ recommended. Tickets are NT$770, or NT$1,300 for two. Seating is unreserved and doors open 30 minutes before the show.
Barn 169 Theater is at 169 Xinsheng Road in Taoyuan. From Taoyuan railway station (TRA), allow twenty minutes for the 1.2-kilometre walk. Aim to arrive at 19:00 on Friday or 14:00 at the weekend.
