Coaster NT$300, handkerchief NT$700, plus park admission; Green 21 shuttle from Luodong's rear exit.
A row of wooden shuttles rests beside yellow cloth on the loom. Pale threads run from the shuttles toward a floral pattern. The photograph comes from Huang Lan-ye's workshop at Yilan's National Center for Traditional Arts.
The beginner coaster session uses silk threads already combined into thicker, mixed-color yarn. An instructor shows you how to operate the loom; if you have more time, the course page says you can combine the threads yourself. The booking page lists 15–30 minutes and NT$300. The more advanced silk handkerchief uses finer single strands and takes 90–180 minutes, NT$700.
Choose the beginner session if you want a small introduction to weaving. For an anniversary project, ask the workshop about a longer silk piece and your date before planning the trip.
