Follow one small handmade object from the maker's table into everyday life.

A fox dangles a blue teacup beneath its face. A wooden robot wears its coffee on its chest. ISHANDS brings its Inspiration Tea Party to Huashan's East 2 halls on October 16–18.

FUFu's enamel animals come with tiny strawberries, cake and cups; its workshop introduces colouring high-temperature enamel. 桔物手作 uses wood offcuts, screws and springs to make small robots, then gives them miniature tea-time accessories. Pick a slightly ridiculous little companion for your keys.

Begin with a slow circuit of the stalls before choosing a hands-on session. Chana Pottery Studio, whose practice moves between Chiang Mai and Bangkok, has announced stall T18. The organiser also offers hand-spinning yarn and winding it around a mushroom-shaped holder, and turning storm-felled Hong Kong wood into a watch. Each maker and course link has its own times and fees.

The festival runs October 16–18, 10:30–19:00, with last entry 18:30, in Huashan's East 2A–D halls. General admission during the event is NT$228. The organiser's pre-booked paid course packages include one admission ticket; free talks require a separate festival ticket. Choose your ticket and session on ACCUPASS, then keep the maker list open on your phone as you browse.

Three wooden robot keyrings with screw eyes, spring arms and small drink or hamburger decorations rest on a framed lace background.
