Take the train and shuttle to see giant rocks light up beside the forest.
A person looks almost mis-scaled between the orange and purple boulders in this photograph. It shows ENESS's Iwagumi Air Scape at Sunrise Boulevard. From October 23, the same 19 inflatable forms move to the Sun and Moon Pools at Danongdafu Forest Park in Guangfu.
Grassland and forest become the next backdrop. Walk between the rocks, touch gently and follow the changing light and sound. The free installation runs October 23–November 8, daily 10:00–20:00. The October 23 lighting ceremony begins at 18:00.
Take a train to Guangfu, then the free exhibition shuttle via Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory. For an evening visit, consider the 17:20 or 18:20 outbound run and choose your return first: the last bus leaves the park at 20:15. The full timetable is below; check the bureau's latest announcement before travelling.
Directions point to the pool area inside the park, whose address is 32 Nongchang Road. Allow about fifteen minutes by taxi from Guangfu Station. Bring insect repellent and wear covered shoes, socks and long sleeves for the forest setting.
