Follow the hand-drawn marks of coffee-lift printing into a Tainan studio where you can arrange a lesson.
Hands hold a screen steady over a shirt.
The studio also puts instant coffee to work. In late 2024, founder Pei-Hsuan Wu and resident artist Karen D. Beckwith developed Coffee-Lift Screen Printing, a method that produces hand-drawn marks without photo-emulsion. Their bilingual demonstration introduces the materials and process; the studio shares it publicly and asks teachers to credit its origin.

You can arrange a lesson around a technique or project, whether this is your first print or further study. Standard teaching is listed at NT$400 an hour, with a two-hour minimum. If you do not know where to begin, the studio recommends a separate one-hour introduction and course-planning appointment.
Email textureprint@gmail.com or contact the studio on Instagram or LINE. Say what you want to try, your experience, preferred dates and teaching language. Dates are arranged with the studio; available teaching periods are 10:30–12:30 and 14:30–20:30. Make the arrangement before travelling.
