Together installation festival · Banqiao 435
A blue platform propped up with everyday objects gives a visitor somewhere to stretch out. Seven outdoor works at Banqiao 435 make room for sitting, singing and moving at somebody else's scale, through December 6.

Pan I-An's improvised resting place opens a visit to seven works about the bodies and overlooked spaces of Banqiao.
Someone has stretched out on a long blue platform, with a green crate beside their head and a pink bucket near their feet. Beneath it sit more crates, a traffic cone and a paint bucket. In the organiser's photograph of Pan I-An's Still, Still, lying around looks like an entirely respectable way to spend an afternoon.
Pan took the outline of a small garden beside Gongguan Ditch and lifted it off the ground. The awkward scrap of land becomes somewhere a person can enter, sit and stay. Together, the installation festival at Banqiao 435, brings six artists and groups into the outdoor grounds with seven works. Curator Lin Yu-Hsuan starts from the different bodies that have to find their way through a city built for speed.
Follow that thought into Tsai Ning's Ways of Passing Through. Its narrow passage is built to a child's scale; an adult must change posture to get through. The adjustment gives a physical answer to the question of who a space was designed for. Lee Cheng-Liang's The Wannian Station remakes the familiar spherical rooftop water tank as a space station, stage and broadcast system. One visitor at a time can climb in to sing or listen. His Climate Station offers a half-open shelter of light, wind chimes and passing weather.
Lin Ying-Chieh's Hidden Current brings the buried waterways back into view through mirrored layers of road and river and a rocking bridge element. Banqiao's old name, Fangqiao, recalls a plank bridge across Gongguan Ditch. Liao Chao-Hao's Stone Topographies – Migratory Birds turns to the engineered banks of the Dahan River, using cement forms and bird imagery to make a river landscape that is already partly human-made.
Endospace's Allowed to Stay puts growing, flowering and fading plant shadows into the arches of Crescent Red House. Pan's platform makes a useful companion to it: both give lingering a place in the programme. Allow about an hour for an unhurried circuit, longer if you stop to listen.
The festival runs October 30–December 6 in the outdoor grounds, normally 06:00–22:00, with free entry. Skip November 2, when the exhibition is closed, and check the organiser for separately announced disinfection days. The park has also announced an 11:00 opening on November 28. Indoor galleries keep shorter hours; a late outdoor visit does not include access to every building.
Each work has its own terms of participation. Do not climb Still, Still or move its objects. The water-tank station uses a ladder and admits one person at a time. The child-sized passage requires a change of posture; it is not an accessible route through the park. You can enjoy the grounds without entering every work. Follow the signs at each installation, especially with children or in wet weather.
