A paid, guided look at where a bowl's pattern is printed. Check in 09:45 at Yingge Station's Jianguo Road exit; NT$1,380, booking required.
A hand steadies a bowl while a tool lifts curls from its foot. In another photograph, a worker checks a sheet of ceramic transfers beside the printing machinery. These are the things Yingge Open House's 讓 route takes you inside to see: ceramics being made at 陶聚's Yongchang Street factory, then the transfer-printing process at 新太源. The last stop is breakfast at 鄰照早點, with its collaboration with 陶聚.
I'd like to see where the pattern begins.
