A short art stop after dinner, without a gallery closing time.
程家靖 begins with chewing gum pinched through tissue. The gum is warm and springy; the fingertips meet something rough and dry. What do you touch when another surface is in the way?
In the Wet-Dry Separation poster, two turquoise forms overlap a torn pale sheet. The artist writes of trying to get closer, encountering resistance, then finding another direction along a surface. The work goes into a glass box; the viewer stays on the other side.
正白#FFFFFF is an unmanned window at 215 Xinle Street in Yancheng. Look from the street after dinner or between other plans. You can stop at any hour during the November 2–27 run.
