What happens when the person who cares for others gets to entrust that care to someone else?
A child, a plant, a pet, or a thought you cannot put down: what would you entrust to someone else? In the November 8 performance Supernanny, artist Wei Hsinyen brings her daughter and takes care of what you entrust to her for fifty minutes. You can leave and spend that time as you wish, offering something of your own in exchange.
Wei and Lin Yanyen present four sessions at 13:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 17:00. Each accepts two groups, with priority for people entrusting children. Register in advance; the organiser will send an acceptance notice.
On November 6, 13:30–16:00, Hsu Shih-yu and Wei lead the Saying No workshop in C3; it gives registration priority to creative-industry workers providing intensive ongoing care for others. On November 7, a Becoming a Mother screening and artist conversation runs 13:00–14:30, followed by artists 蔡海如 and 高雅婷 discussing motherhood and creative work from 15:00–17:00. Both Saturday events are in D2.
On November 8, the Becoming a Mother films also screen on a drop-in loop in D2 from 11:00 to 18:00. The programme is free, with separate registration links for the workshop, conversations and performance; the care performance asks participants to bring an exchange.
