Watch a glowing filament strike glass and make sound.

In the organiser’s photograph, orange filaments fold into long glowing loops inside a glass tube. Wang Fujui’s Vibrating Sound Bulb puts those filaments to work twice: changing current makes them shine and vibrate. When they strike the glass, the bulb supplies its own percussion.

The 2024 work is one of four installations in ILLUSONIC 2026 at TNUA’s Center for Art and Technology. The exhibition runs October 16–24, 10:00–17:00, closed Mondays.

From Guandu MRT exit 2, use Red 35 or Red 55 to 北藝大藝科中心(游泳館), the campus art-and-technology/swimming-pool stop. Walking from the station is about 1.9 km and takes roughly half an hour, with stairs on the mapped route.
