A harbour bookshop invites filmmakers and readers to look again at familiar streets.

A street you pass every day can become a film location. Keelung's Sea To See Bookafé is bringing directors and a novelist together for four workshops, followed by two city walks with local guide 陳顥樺. All six sessions are free, with separate registration.

On October 18, director 謝惠菁 explores location choices, costumes and props from 10:00 to noon. From 13:30 to 16:30, director Wan Kin-fai (温景輝) uses his short film Side A: A Summer Day to discuss filming home and teach practical phone-camera work, including an outdoor session. Choose one workshop and keep the other half of the day for the city.

On October 25, 13:30–16:00, 梁均婕 starts with photographs from different decades to develop characters and stories. On November 1, 13:30–16:30, novelist 平野 explores Keelung's hills, port, lanes and food through 人・魚・島. The guided walks are November 1, 15:30–17:30, and November 9, 14:00–16:00. The November 1 workshop and walk overlap: choose one.

The bookshop sits by the Miaokou neighbourhood, with a particular interest in Taiwan and the sea. Drop in for books and a drink, then eat at the night market and walk to Ocean Plaza. Registered participants receive confirmation three days before their session; follow that message for meeting and participation arrangements.
