Start where people wait for trains, then follow a book into Keelung.
The poster puts readers beside the harbour, with a paper plane crossing a pink sky. Baby Beast Books brings more than 20 independent bookshops, publishers, mobile book vans and lifestyle brands outside the station. Your first stop after the train can be a book.
Some of these bookshops have moved beyond a shopfront. The organiser introduces 有河書店, now appearing at markets and book fairs, beside Yesterday Bookstore's online foreign-language selection. Come for a browsing detour, then head into Keelung for dinner.
The book exchange accepts one to five eligible used books with a written note. Read its rules before packing. Workshops and the Sankeng food walk are separately booked; choose a session through the programme rather than expecting to drop in. This is a two-day event, not a permanent station market.
Get there
Public transport
Use Keelung Station's south exit for the plaza, rather than the north exit. Bring rain protection for this outdoor event and check organiser updates for weather changes.
