The Sankeng festival runs October 9–11, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00 at Shimen Grass Lawn. Saturday, October 10, brings Ricky Hsiao and the Longtan Philharmonic Orchestra together from 14:00 to 15:10. Arrive for the morning market, eat, then stay for the performance.
Arrive early by bus
The weekend-only Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 503 大龍門線 leaves Zhongli at 08:30 and reaches 北水局(石門大草坪) at 09:27. From the stop, the lawn is about 205 metres away: roughly three minutes on foot. You have time before the market opens at 10:00.
The next outbound departure is 13:30, reaching the stop at 14:27. It will miss the beginning of Saturday’s concert. After the performance and market, the return bus leaves the stop at 16:15. Check the operator’s timetable when planning.
What belongs to which day
The farmers’ market spans all three days. The orchestra and Ricky Hsiao performance belongs to Saturday, October 10. Choose October 10 for the concert; Friday or Sunday still offers the market and that day’s programme.
