The last visitor has left. The work remembers.
Across three rooms at Taichung Art Museum, Daito Manabe lets visitors' behaviour become part of the work.

On view through January 3, 2027; reach it by MRT to Wenhua Senior High School, then the Green 4 bus.
In Daito Manabe's Relational Time, how visitors move, pause and approach each other can help shape what the next person encounters.
Manabe describes Room B as an ecology that accumulates visitor behaviour. Traces fade and mingle with other people's traces. When you arrive, the work has already spent time with strangers.
In Room A, AI agents read a simulation of cells and particles. Their judgments return to its parameters and choice of algorithms, changing what happens next. Room C distributes twenty-four points of sensing and sound through the space. Movement, distance and pauses alter sound's position, rhythm and density.
I'd want to return a few days later and see how much had changed.
