The bear has its mouth open. Beside it sit a frog, a cup and food characters in a bamboo steamer. They fill Takao Nakagawa's yellow event poster.
The Japanese illustrator's Taipei pop-up brings original art and merchandise to THE GALA SHOP in Huashan's Building 中1A. It opens October 9 and runs through November 12, 11:00–21:00. Nakagawa says he will not attend in person.
Make it one stop on a Huashan afternoon: look at the original art, browse the character goods, then keep exploring the park. The outdoor public spaces are open around the clock; this indoor pop-up has its own hours.

About 3 minutes from Zhongxiao Xinsheng MRT Exit 1 to the park entrance, or 5 from Shandao Temple Exit 6. Walk between halls and squares inside the park, using its map to find your exhibition.
