A book jacket with two people's faces

Share a self-portrait on a book jacket, then browse Kaohsiung's October 17–18 book market on Wei 6th Road. Saturday also has an outdoor film.

On a yellow programme sheet, pink Saturday and green Sunday dates sit above white activity cards. Small drawings show people reading, running and making things, with a black cat beneath a tree. Three photographs of Saturday's running guides appear at left.

Let a reader and cartoonist share a book jacket.

The surrounding book and creative market runs on October 17 and 18, 13:00–18:00, along Wei 6th Road in Zuoying's naval villages. The Culture Bureau's programme brings together Kaohsiung bookshops, poetry performances, drawing and family reading activities. The street market is free to browse; individual activities have their own booking and fees.

Sunday has 孩子王 performances at 13:00–13:30 and 15:00–15:30. Use the full organiser programme for other walks, talks and activities.

The market street's mapped arrival point is Hequn Community at 4 Wei 6th Road. From World Games MRT, the walking route is about 1.45 kilometres; allow twenty minutes.

In a video preview, hands hold a book wrapped in paper above a desk with cut-out portrait photographs and stationery. Yellow lettering on black gives October 17, 16:00–17:00 and Kaohsiung Zuoying Naval Villages.
