Yeh Shyr-tau Literary Memorial Museum

Yeh Shyr-tau wrote Tainan, and wrote about how Taiwanese literature should narrate itself. The museum occupies a Japanese-era public building and completed a new round of display work in 2026.

The redesign uses ceiling installations, book walls, and a transit-style literary map to reconnect scenes in the fiction to Tainan streets.

The map turns those scenes into routes. The museum still needs enough of Yeh's words and detail for the streets to remain more than names.
