Why this order

Taiwanese literature is not a supplementary chapter. Yeh Shyr-tau wrote the south of the island for a lifetime in Tainan; Lai Ho practised medicine and wrote in Changhua. Put the two rooms in one trip and the same question keeps returning in different cities: whose language do you write in.

    Yeh Shyr-tau Literary Memorial Museum

    West Central District, open from nine, and walkable. Combine it with the Museum of Taiwan Literature area.

    Lai Ho Memorial Museum

    Fourth floor of a downtown Changhua building. It shuts over lunch, so do not arrive at noon.

    Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–12:00 and 13:30–17:00; closed Sunday, Monday, and national holidays
