Sit down and listen: the whales are real recordings, the sea is light on a table.

In Building 19, a table turns into the ocean. Projections of the sea spread across its surface and an animated story plays out on it, while the room carries whale and dolphin recordings made during marine research. Two Thirds / 三分之二 打撈記憶 invites you to sit at that table, inside the story.

The poster sets the scene before you arrive: a large whale beneath golden water, smaller dolphins nearby and a house sunk below them. Hualien AI Music Lab (HAML) organised the show; MOONSHINE / FI/O handled curatorial execution, with Bigcat Studio as collaborating studio.

Free entry, October 8–December 6, 2026, Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00; closed Mondays. Hualien AI Music Lab, Building 19, Hualien Cultural and Creative Industries Park, No. 144 Zhonghua Road, Hualien City. From Hualien Station's front entrance, allow about 34 minutes on foot or ten minutes by road.
