Follow a ripple into Sakamoto’s sound installations and artist collaborations.

In TFAM’s published photograph of Sakamoto and Shiro Takatani’s water state 1, a falling drop leaves circles on dark water.

Seeing Sound, Hearing Time brings together seven large installations and material from the 1999 opera LIFE. Water, mist, weather data and electromagnetic signals offer a way into Sakamoto’s collaborations with artists including Takatani and Daito Manabe.

The first bookings open October 15 at 10am Taiwan time. Your one-hour ticket slot controls entry; once inside, there is no viewing-time limit. Leave room in the day to listen.
