Why this order

A former paper mill gives two people room to wander. Spend the afternoon with its buildings and current programme, then change to Luodong food after a short ride. Save your energy for conversation.

15:00–16:45 park; call a taxi at 17:00; 17:30–19:00 market; 19:00 park. Taxi and food are extra.

Walk from TRA Zhongli Station to the mill or taxi from Luodong Station. Leave from Luodong after dinner.

    Chung Hsing Cultural and Creative Park

    At 15:00, explore the mill buildings, current exhibitions and open shops. Indoor spaces 10:00–18:00, closed Wednesday and Lunar New Year’s Eve; grounds open daily, lights off 22:00. The lead image records the earlier The Years of Paper installation. Ticketed events follow their own notices.

  2. Stop 2

    Luodong Night Market: dinner in several bites

    Walk — The walk is about 3.7 km, nearly an hour. Take a taxi; allow 20 minutes including pickup.

    Reach the market at 17:30. Start with a main, then share gaozha fried custard, pork fritters or filled tapioca dessert. The market wraps around Zhongshan Park. Pay by each menu; browsing is free.

  3. Stop 3

    Zhongshan Park: a pause after dinner

    Walk — About 100 m beside the market; two minutes.

    At 19:00, rest in the park. If you are still hungry, make another market loop. The last stop is next door.
