Why this order

At Yingge's ceramics market, 安達窯 remakes disposable tableware in ceramic; 小孩畫畫媽媽制器 builds lobster plates from a child's drawings. Start among objects meant for a table, then walk three minutes to a work that puts internet headlines on the floor.

  1. Stop 1

    Yingge ceramics market (鶯歌陶藝市集)

Take the train to Yingge. Google estimates about fourteen minutes on foot to the market entrance opposite 67 Yuying Street, beside the elementary school's old kiln. Give the stalls an hour or longer if something catches you. The market opens October 9 and 10, 10am–6pm, and October 11, 10am–5pm.

  2. Stop 2

Third-floor arts centre · Cho Wei, Inner Voice: Context

    Yinggo Spot (鶯歌光點美學館)

From the market, follow Yuying Street, Chongqing Street and Taoci Street to Yinggo Spot, No.18 Taoci Street. The walk is about 218 metres, three minutes. Go to the third-floor arts centre for Cho Wei's Inner Voice: Context. In 鏈結—同溫層, fragments of online language are stamped into ceramic chains. The venue invites visitors to crouch for a closer read. The exhibition is free, 10am–7pm, through November 8; closed the first and third Tuesday of each month.

In the foreground, stamped lines of text are legible on rough ceramic chain links; more chains wind across the floor behind.
